// hi, my name is

Abdullah Saqib

I turn oil, gas & energy data into decisions.

Final-year Data Science and Decisions student at UNSW Sydney. I build Python models and data pipelines on crude oil markets and Australian emissions data, aimed at the questions operators, traders and investors actually ask.

about

I'm a final-year Data Science and Decisions student at UNSW Sydney, heading into energy and resources.

I came to energy through the market itself. I trade crude oil on my own account, and I wanted a more rigorous way to read it than chart patterns. That turned into the signal engine above, and from there into what Australia's biggest emitters actually report to the regulator.

I grew up around trade. My family runs Rapid Cargo, a freight-forwarding and customs business in Pakistan, so shipping costs, tariffs and commodity prices were everyday conversation long before they were datasets.

Away from the screen I work client-facing at M.J. Bale, where I've learnt to explain things to people who don't care about the method.
